083 Tayside’s Buses.

083 Tayside’s Buses. The Transport Act of 1985 established the deregulation of local buses services across the UK except for Northern Ireland and Greater London. As a result competition could be introduced on local bus services for the first time since the 1930s. “Tayside Public Transport Company Limited” was formed in preparation for such changes and the bus livery was changed with an extended cream band replacing the white with a new “Tayside” logo.
