031 Another survivor.

031 Another survivor. Almost alternating with Daimler purchases 19 additional AEC Regent IIIs were added during 1949-53. Amongst the batch of 8-foot wide Regents, with Alexander bodies, was number 137 CYJ252 which was bought out of service in 1975 and lovingly restored. It is possibly the oldest bus that transferred to any of the Scottish Regions in 1975. Photographed at Crawley, it was later sold and is the only privately-owned surviving “Corpy” bus.
