1987 Leyland Olympian D244FYM CitySightseeing Alpine Travel Llandudno

Alpine Travel operate the CitySightseeing service between Llandudno and Conwy.

Pictured at North Parade Llandudno is Leyland Olympian D244FYM, new to London Transport as fleet number L244 in January 1987.

The reason the engine cover is open was that this section of road was supposed to be closed to all vehicles for the Tour of Britain but, conveniently looking as though it had engine trouble, the bus was able to stay a bit longer...
