025 Adding ads.

025 Adding ads. At first sight this photo of 1947 Regent III number 64 YJ9137 may appear unremarkable. However it was taken to highlight the fact that advertisements had been added to Corporation buses since 1950, sadly covering the “Dundee” part of the bus livery. The destination above the platform was a post-war addition and the The “Cowan-Ad” label is a reference to the agency that sold space on buses in Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
