006 Eight more Lions.

006 Eight more Lions. In 1929 another eight Leyland Lion buses were added to the fleet. However this time they were LT1s as opposed to the previous 20 PLSC1s. Pictured is number 23 TS8415 which entered service on 31 December 1929 and is operating a joint service with the Dundee, Broughty Ferry & District Tram Company. This bus was transferred to the War Department in 1940 but returned in 1945. It was finally withdrawn from service in 1947.
