2003 Volvo B7TL East Lancs Vyking SP03GDK 710 16930 and 1982 Leyland National 2 WBW735X “SN12” Strathtay Scottish

They meet at last - two buses painted in different versions of Strathtay livery to mark the 30th anniversary of the company in 2015.

2003 Volvo B7TL East Lancs Vyking SP03GDK 710 16930. New to Strathtay Scottish.

1982 Leyland National 2 WBW735X “SN12”. New to UK Atomic Energy Authority Harwell. This bus matches seven of the eleven Nationals operated by Strathtay upon formation. Only Strathtay’s NLS989W survives but in a much altered and very poor state.

A blown head gasket and air system problems kept the National off the road until recently and this was the first opportunity to get them photographed side-by-side.
